Approximately one week prior to the Institute, all registered attendees receive a password protected link via email to access and download the Institute materials. The materials will be available on the Institute platform until February 15, 2027. The conference materials are copyrighted and may not be duplicated, reused, or shared without the written consent of the Heckerling Institute. Attendees will also be able to view recorded videos of all the sessions on the Institute platform through February 15, 2027. Continuing education credit will be granted only for sessions attended live in person or virtually in real-time.
The registration fee for virtual attendance includes online access to the educational sessions and Institute materials. Approximately one week prior to the Institute, virtual attendees receive a password protected link via email to access the live virtual presentations during Institute week. To receive continuing education credit, attendees will be required to confirm their real-time participation in the sessions by responding to polling questions.
Registration fees are refundable (less a $150 administrative fee) if written notice is received by Tuesday, December 15, 2026. To cancel your registration, send an email to Heckerling@law.miami.edu. Yes, virtual attendance is available. Registration for virtual attendance includes online access to educational sessions and Institute materials. About one week before the Institute, virtual attendees receive a password-protected link to join live sessions during Institute week. To earn continuing education credit, virtual attendees must confirm real-time participation by responding to polling questions during the sessions. We do encourage attending in person when possible, so you can network at social events and visit our exhibit hall featuring the latest estate planning technology and services.
The Registration Desk opens on Sunday, January 10, 2027, from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention. Attendees enjoy picking up their badge while they network with colleagues the afternoon before the Institute opens on Monday. The Registration Desk reopens on Monday, January 11, 2027 at 8:00 a.m. and Tuesday - Friday at 8:30 a.m.
